"Shane helped me twice for my Scotsman Ice Machine. The first time, the machine was leaking water. At first, I called a different company, Ixxxxxer, which was the closest. They said they will send someone out. Nobody came. I called them and they again said they will send someone out. Nobody came. A week passed since the first call. I started calling other places and found Shane's Ice Buddy. He came out the same day, identified an overflowing water reservoir, fixed the issue and asked for just $65. The second time, the machine stopped making ice. It was Friday morning. I called Ixxxxxxr who said the earliest they can send someone out was on Monday. Then I remembered Shane. I called him. He is on his way to a funeral so he can't come out until the next morning. The next morning, a Saturday, he came out early in the morning, got the machine making ice again and charged me $285. He is there when I need him. His rates are reasonable. He gets the job done. His shop is in Hanceville but he says he's in Hoover/Birmingham just about every day. He will be the first I will call the next time I have trouble with my ice machine or HVAC/AC."
